Movie recommendations?

Has anyone seen (and recommend) Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, Contagion, or Rise of the Planet of the Apes?

I'm feeling movie-ish at some point in the near future, and those are the ones that rise to top-of-mind first, for not really immediate reason.

(Other recs also welcome).
