Oct. 6th, 2003 02:18 pmHmmm, haven't posted in a while.
Was going to go to a party, but I got no sleep the night before (damn 3rd season of Buffy!), so I went in to Kanzawa and went wall-climbing with
coolscribe and Kris. I'd never done it before, so the two of them walked me through the early basics, and then left me in the dust. :) I am horribly bad at it, but it was really fun, and I'd love to do it again, and learn how to do it properly. Anyway, having lost what little energy I had to climbing, I decided to forgo the 8 hour dance party and just go home and sleep, which I did.
The following day, Emma brought her sister to Suzu with her, so after Matt came back from Kanazawa, Rachael and I decided to make dinner and invite the other JETs. I made curry (thank you,
milkytora!), and received many compliments on it. It was fun talking to Emma's sister Chris, she's been to even more countries than me, and a lot that I haven't been to. She'd been to Syria, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia, just to name a few. Anyway, with luck, I shall have broadband within the week. It's on order, I just need to receive the modem and settings info in the mail.
Classes for me have settled into a really boring routine. But I guess that's comforting in it's own way.
Will post more later, probably.
