a very...interesting friday night and saturday morning

Last night (Friday), a bunch of us JETs got together and had us a belated Thanksgiving and early Christmas feast. There were maybe 15 of us, and everyone one of us brought food, so we all ate till we couldn't stand up, and then drank till we couldn't see straight. I've got a hilarious 30-second video of "Moby", the brit JET who looks like him, dancing to "Hot Pants" with fake reindeer horns. Anyway, it was a lot of fun, and it made me miss my family and friends in NY a lot less. Having good friends here, even far away most of the time, is something to be thankful for.

We (Suzu JETs) got hom around midnight, and I had to go to sleep right away to wake up in time for a "Noto Peninsula High School Teachers' Sports Festival", where we played volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. I'm bushed, and wondering why I went, though I did have fun playing badminton. I would much rather have gone back to sleep instead of having to wake up at 7am on a Saturday.
