The marchers are going at an angle towards the viewer, while the sign is front-on -- unless the protester is carrying the sign at about a 50-degree angle from his/her body... but compare it with the Tibetan flag a little back in the crowd. Also, the stick the "sign" is on looks completely fake, and the shadows are all over the place. More than anything else, it looks like a sticky note on top of the real photograph...
